Week of April 23

Eighth Grade Social Studies: We are reviewing for the K-prep Test

World Civilizations: Finishing up a unit on modern Africa, Asia and Latin America.  The open notes essay test will be April 25th.

American History: We are finishing up the 1970's and 1980's and preparing for End of Course Exams.

Week of 1/23/2012

Sophomores and Juniors will take a current events quiz on Friday.

World Civ.- will have a World War I Test on Wednesday and then we'll begin a study of life between the wars

American History- Will begin studying the Great Depression and we will review for End of Course Exams

8th Grade Social Studies- Will have a chapter 11 Test Tuesday on Jacksonian Democracy.  Then we will study Manifest Destiny and the Oregon Trail.

Week of 12/05/2011

Sophomores and Junior will have current event quizzes on Friday.

World Civilizations- Students will have a test over chapter 14(Imperialism) on Tuesday December 6th. Then they will begin to review for the semester test.

American History- Students will have a test over chapter 14(World War I) on Wednesday December 7th. Then they will begin to review for the semester test.

Eighth Grade Social Studies- Students will have a test over Chapter 9(Jeffersonian Era) on Thursday December 8th. Then they will begin to review for the semester test.

Week 11/14/11

Current Events quizzes on Friday for the 10th grade and 11th grade.

American History- Students are studying the Progressive Movement. Test is scheduled for 11/21.
Students will have a videoconference with a Pearl Harbor survivor on Friday!

World Civilizations- Students are studying the Second Industrial Revolution. Test is scheduled for 11/21

Eighth Grade Social Studies- Test over chapter 7 and the Constitution on 11/15. Students will begin studying the early political parties and Washington's presidency.
